Carefully hold the camera to prevent damage, and slowly rotate the filter to attach or detach it. Make sure the ND filter is mounted securely to avoid accidental detachment during flight.
DJI Air 2S does not support the use of the DJI FPV Goggles series or the DJI Motion Controller, and there is currently no plan to add support for these devices. For further information, please pay attention to future firmware updates.
Method 1: Download the materials from DJI Air 2S to DJI RC via the O3 video transmission system, and then use FlyShare on DJI RC to transmit to the DJI Fly app on your smartphone.
Method 2*: Remove the microSD card from DJI Air 2S. Insert the microSD card into DJI RC and download the materials to the remote controller. Then, use FlyShare on DJI RC to transmit to the DJI Fly app on your smartphone.
Note: If another microSD card has already been inserted into DJI RC, take it out first and store it properly. After inserting the microSD card from the aircraft, tap the Playback icon and then “Saved v” to choose the materials you need to transmit.
* It is recommended to use Method 2 for greater efficiency.
Safety & Obstacle Sensing
Yes. DJI Air 2S has an auxiliary LED light for improved vision and safety in low-light conditions, similar to the Mavic 2 series.
No. DJI Air 2S supports obstacle sensing in four directions: upward, downward, forward, and backward.
APAS 4.0 has further improved its map-building algorithms with a newly added upward sensor to deliver smoother and more reliable obstacle avoidance and bypassing performance.
ActiveTrack 4.0 features more advanced flight route planning algorithms that plan a route in advance when an obstacle is detected, resulting in an optimal tracking experience.

The O3 video transmission uses an all-new video transmission solution. Dual antennas have been upgraded to four antennas, bringing up to 12km FHD video transmission (unobstructed, free of interference, and FCC compliant) and stronger anti-interference capability. Video transmission in cities and other complex environments has become more reliable.

DJI RC supports a charging power of 15 W (5 V/3 A), and the highest charging efficiency can be achieved with a charger that supports PD protocol. It takes approximately 1.5 hours to fully charge the battery.
DJI RC adopts OcuSync HD video transmission technology. When connected to other compatible drone models, DJI RC will switch to the corresponding video transmission technology.

SmartPhoto integrates scene recognition, HyperLight, and HDR into one mode for optimal results. Scene recognition optimizes different camera parameters for different scenes and supports intelligent recognition of five categories: sunset, blue sky, grass, snow, and green trees. HyperLight optimizes photos taken at night or in low-light situations. HDR selects the best image from multiple layers, thanks to an adaptive dynamic expansion algorithm that determines optimal parameters.
Intelligent Features
The next level of content creation, MasterShots support automatic aerial photography and post-editing. According to the type and distance of the target, DJI Air 2S automatically selects from Proximity, Landscape, and Portrait templates and creates a cinematic sequence of shots. After shooting is complete, DJI Air 2S automatically edits the footage. Diverse templates are available for impressive videos with a single tap.
FocusTrack consists of three different intelligent tracking modes: ActiveTrack 4.0, Point of Interest 3.0, and Spotlight 2.0. All three modes offer different tracking features for any situation.
DJI Air 2S supports MasterShots, QuickShots, Hyperlapse, and FocusTrack.
FocusTrack is not available while recording in 5.4K/30fps, 5.4K/25fps, 5.4K/24fps, 4K/60fps, 4K/50fps, 4K/48fps, 2.7K/60fps, 2.7K/50fps, 2.7K/48fps, 1080p/120fps, 1080p/60fps, 1080p/50fps, and 1080p/48fps. APAS 4.0 is not available while recording in 5.4K/30fps, 5.4K/25fps, 5.4K/24fps, 4K/60fps, 4K/50fps, 4K/48fps, 2.7K/60fps, 2.7K/50fps, 2.7K/48fps, 1080p/120fps.
Firmware
You can either update the firmware on the DJI Fly app or DJI Assistant 2 (Consumer Drones Series) desktop software (available for Mac and Windows). Both can be found on DJI's official homepage.
