Hundreds of visitors visited DJI at the NAB Show 2015, which ran from April 13-16 in Las Vegas. Attendees were able to experience the latest DJI tools that help professionals and consumers capture great content.
We announced a suite of new products, including the Ronin-M, and a Follow Focus system for the Ronin, and showed off the Phantom 3 and A7 gimbal once again. All of these new products push the boundaries of technology and will help people create content like never before.
A highlight of our booth this year was the Lights, Camera, Ronin interactive workshop that let people see a Ronin-M in action on the “set” of an action movie. We put visitors in the director’s chair to experience the flexibility and power of the Ronin-M. Everyone who watched in or participated in the workshop walked away impressed.
Also, this year’s NAB was the first to feature a Drone Pavilion. As the clear industry leader, DJI was offered four speaking opportunities to the crowd of eager drone fanatics. Eric Cheng, Jon Resnick, Patrick Weir and Randy Braun all spoke about their experiences with drones and their perspective on the industry’s development. All of their speeches met with warm applause and got great feedback from a very engaged and excited audience.
But the highlight of the show was the live flight demonstrations of the new Phantom 3, which attracted crowds eager to get a peek at DJI’s latest flying camera.
