For a little over a year now, I've turned aerial filming and photography into a hobby that I love. I originally got my DJI Phantom 2 with a GoPro Hero 3+ Black Edition (mounted on a Zenmuse H3-3D) to film videos for freestyle snowboarding competitions. But when I’m not on the mountain, I’m out exploring my home state of Maine in ways I never have before. I’m constantly looking for new opportunities and areas to film and oftentimes driving or hiking many miles just to get that “perfect shot”. DJI technology has given me this amazing opportunity to see things from a different way and I plan on continuing my adventures in aerial photography with hopes to someday make it more than just a hobby. The sky’s the limit!
