Operators must keep aircraft within their line of sight while flying
Respect image and privacy rights
Check the local aviation authority's website and review all relevant rules and regulations before flying
Check for local no-fly zones before flying
Steps to follow as a new drone pilot
- Do not fly within 50 m of other people, vehicles or buildings that are not under the operator or aircraft manager’s control.
- All flights must be carried out in a considerate manner so that aircraft, people, birds, animals, and property are not exposed to damage and the general populace is not inconvenienced in any way.
- Do not fly over festivals, military facilities, sporting events, or other large public gatherings.
