Pack your Mavic Air in its DJI case, which is small enough to pack away in a suitcase or backpack for maximum convenience.
When passing through customs, the drone is generally not required to be declared if it's for personal use only. If it's for commercial use or trade, it needs to be declared according to the country’s individual customs regulations.
Different airlines have different regulations for the carrying and shipping of drones and batteries. Please consult your airline before traveling. Batteries are generally not permitted in check-in luggage so you'll need to carry them onboard.

Before flying, make sure that: 1. The batteries are fully charged; 2. The front and rear arms, and foot frame are all fully extended; 3. The DJI GO app is the latest version; 4. The camera is clean. Make sure you complete these steps so your Mavic Air can fly safely.
Your drone should take-off from and land on a flat, still surface.

QuickShot: Asteroid With one tap, the Mavic Air will automatically fly away and take a 10s spherical panorama video that resembles an asteroid falling to earth. Asteroid looks most epic above beaches, wide open spaces, and lakes.
QuickShot: Boomerang With one tap, the Mavic Air will automatically fly around you like a boomerang, capturing everything in a stunning, cinematic video. Boomerang looks most epic at the top of a mountain!
DO NOT fly in bad weather, such as in strong winds or in the snow, rain, and fog.
Choose an open space with no tall buildings around. DO NOT fly in areas with high voltage wires, telecommunication base stations, or television towers to avoid interference with the remote controller.
When flying, please keep a safe distance from crowds.
When flying, make sure you can see your drone at all times.
GPS is unavailable in both Antarctic and Arctic Circles. The visual positioning system may be used instead. Be warned, when flying above 5,000 meters, the flight performance of the Mavic Air will be strongly affected.
