The Taiwan Civil Aeronautics Administration (CAA) allows tourists to fly drones under CAA’s regulations. The CAA has issued a series of regulations for drone flight operations, and some highlights of these regulations are listed below.

Steps to follow as a new drone pilot

  • Don’t drop items from your drone.
  • Only fly one drone at a time.
  • Register your drone if it weighs more than 250 g.
  • You need to attend a test if your drone weighs 2kg or more.
