The FAA has issued a series of regulations for drone flight operations, and some highlights of these regulations are listed below.

  • Register your aircraft on the FAA’s website if it weighs over 0.55 lbs (0.25 kg). All DJI aircraft weigh over 0.55 lbs.
  • You are required to obtain any related permits for commercial flights.
  • Please read through local regulations or consult authorities before flying a large aircraft that weighs over 0.25 kg.

Carry-on BaggageEach passenger can carry no more than 20 detached batteries on board. Attached batteries can be carried on board.
Checked-in BaggageDetached batteries cannot be checked in. Equipment with small attached batteries can be checked in.
