Goggles

Can DJI Goggles 2 Battery be used to power other electronic devices?
No.
Can DJI Goggles 2 Battery supply power to DJI FPV Goggles V2?
Yes. But the included power cable (USB-C) is not compatible.
Can DJI Goggles 2 be powered by a third-party battery?
It is recommended to use the original DJI battery. If you would like to use a third-party battery, please ensure its voltage should be no more than 11.1 V in case that the drone is scorched.
Can I wear myopia glasses when using with DJI Goggles 2? Do the goggles support diopter adjustment?
DJI Goggles 2 support diopter adjustment, ranging from -8.0 to 2.0 D. Therefore, myopia glasses are not needed during usage.
Eyeglass frames are provided for free when you purchase DJI Goggles 2. If you need astigmatism correction or if the goggles’ diopter is unsuitable, you can purchase additional corrective lenses from an optical shop. Then, install the lenses to the eyeglass frames for usage.
Which aircraft can be used with DJI Goggles 2?

What are the precautions when I use the DJI Avata drone outside my current country/region?
First, you should learn about the local radio frequency laws and regulations before you go.

What should I be aware of before I take off or land the DJI Avata drone?
1) Before takeoff, please ensure the propellers have been mounted properly, the sensors have been calibrated successfully, and the batteries have been fully charged. Also, please ensure there are no obstacles around, such as trees, buildings, or pedestrians.
2) Before landing, please choose an area with a flat surface away from water, and ensure no obstacles are nearby. It is recommended to use the aircraft in Normal mode for landing.
How can I link the DJI Avata drone, DJI Goggles 2, and remote control device?
1. Power on the drone, goggles, and remote control device.
2. Press the link button on the goggles, and it beeps.
3. Press and hold the power button on the drone until its battery level LEDs blink in sequence.
4. After successful linking, the drone’s battery level LEDs turn solid, showing the actual battery level. Then, the goggles stop beeping, and image transmission can be displayed normally.
5. Press and hold the power button on the drone until the battery level LEDs blink in sequence.
6. Press and hold the power button on the remote control device until it starts to beep continually, and the battery level LEDs blink in sequence.
7. After successful linking, the battery level LEDs of both the drone and remote control device turn solid and display the battery level. Then, the remote control device stops beeping.

How can I activate DJI Avata?
A brand new DJI Avata must be activated through the DJI Fly app.
First, please power on the drone, goggles, and remote control device, and ensure all the devices are linked.
Then, connect the USB-C port of the goggles to the mobile device, run the app, and activate the device by following the on-screen prompts. Note that an internet connection is required for activation.

How can I update the firmware of DJI Avata?
[Method 1] Use DJI Fly to update the firmware.
1. Power on the drone, goggles, and remote control device, and ensure all these devices are linked.
2. Connect the USB-C port of the goggles to the mobile device, run the app, and update the firmware by following the on-screen prompts. Note that an internet connection is required for firmware update.
[Method 2] Use DJI Assistant 2 (Consumer Drone Series) to update the firmware.
1. Power on the device. Connect the USB-C port of the device to the computer using the USB-C cable.
2. Launch DJI Assistant 2 (Consumer Drones Series), and log in to your DJI account.
3. Click the icon of the device, and click the “Firmware Update” option on the left.
4. Select and confirm the firmware version.
5. The firmware will be downloaded and updated automatically.
6. The device will restart automatically after the firmware update is complete.

Does DJI Avata support the function of Find My Drone?
Yes. Go to the menu of the goggles, and then go to Settings > Safety > Find My Drone.
It helps find the location of the drone on the ground by using the cached video in the goggles. If the drone still has power, turn on ESC beeping, and the beeping sound will lead you to locate the drone.
Can I fly the DJI Avata drone without wearing the goggles?
The goggles provide the first-person view, letting you “fly” in the pilot seat.
Without the goggles, you can only have the experience of operating a drone, instead of enjoying stunning visual effects.
