Note: After ProRes is selected, the encoding format will be restored to H.264 when entering the Explore mode. After exiting the Explore mode, you can continue to record the video with Apple ProRes 422 HQ encoding. During recording, entering/exiting the Explore mode is not supported.
What software can be used for post-processing after DJI Mavic 3 Cine uses Apple ProRes 422 HQ for recording?

How do I use the Explore mode of DJI Mavic 3?
Enter the Explore mode by tapping the telescope icon next to the shutter/record button in the DJI Fly app. In Explore mode, perform the following methods to achieve hybrid zoom.
1. Tap the zoom button under the telescope icon to achieve 1x, 2x, 4x, 7x, 14x, and 28x.

DJI Mavic 3 features a built-in gimbal lock to prevent the 3-axis gimbal and camera from shaking, adding an additional layer of safety during transportation and storage.
Precautions for use:
1. The normal operating temperature of the gimbal lock is -10° to 40° C (32 to 104° F). If temperatures are outside of this range, it may fail to lock or unlock properly. You will be prompted by the DJI Fly app to use it within the temperature range. For emergency use in special situations, you can manually twist the three axes without damaging the gimbal itself, but this measure is not recommended.
2. The built-in gimbal lock may become unlocked due to external impact. In this case, power on the aircraft and then power off to lock again.
3. After the gimbal is locked, vibrations in each axis may occur.
How do I use the zoom function of DJI Mavic 3?
Enter the Explore mode by tapping the telescope icon next to the shutter/record button in the DJI Fly app. In Explore mode, perform the following methods to achieve hybrid zoom.

Firmware Update

How is the DJI Mavic 3 battery firmware updated?
Insert the battery into the aircraft, power on the aircraft, connect the aircraft to the DJI Fly app or DJI Assistant 2. If the battery version is not matched with the aircraft version, a prompt indicating that the firmware needs to be updated will be displayed. Then follow on-screen instructions to update the battery.
During the DJI Mavic 3 firmware update, if other apps are enabled and DJI Fly is switched to the background, will the update continue in the background?
No, and DJI Fly will indicate that the update has failed. In this case, please connect the Internet and download the firmware again for the update.
Why did the firmware update of DJI Mavic 3 fail?
a. Make sure that the remaining battery level is 20% or more.
b. The firmware update failed if the aircraft or remote controller is powered off during the update process. In this case, please power on the aircraft and remote controller, and update again.
c. The internet was disconnected during the firmware download.
It is normal that the aircraft restarts multiple times during the update.

For Android users, the DJI Mavic 3 RC-N1 remote controller charges the mobile device once it is connected by default, which cannot be disabled in DJI Fly. The working time of the remote controller is about 100 minutes.
For iOS users, there is a charging phone option in the DJI Fly app for iOS v1.4.8, which can be enabled or disabled.
What type of port is supported by the DJI Mavic 3 RC-N1 remote controller?
The port on the remote controller is Type-C port, and accessories are provided in the package, including RC Cable (USB Type-C Connector) x1, RC Cable (Lightning Connector) x1, and RC Cable (Micro-USB Connector) x1.
Does the DJI Mavic 3 series remote controller have an HDMI output?
DJI Mavic 3 is used with DJI RC-N1 remote controller that does not have an HDMI output.

DJI Mavic 3 Series Remote Controller Antenna Type and Usage Notices
The remote controller uses omnidirectional antennas (One antenna is built-in on the top of the phone holder.). Please point the antennas at the aircraft during use.
Make sure to operate the aircraft in an open area. Tall metal structures, mountains, rocks, and forests may interfere with the aircraft's compass and GPS signals.
In order to prevent the remote controller from interfering with other wireless devices, be sure to turn off other wireless devices before using the remote controller.
Do not fly in the vicinity of a source of electromagnetic interference. Sources of electromagnetic interference include but are not limited to: Wi-Fi hotspots, routers, Bluetooth devices, high-voltage wires, high-voltage power transmission stations, mobile phone base stations, and television broadcast signal towers.
Does the DJI Mavic 3 series remote controller support QC protocol?
The RC-N1 remote controller does not support QC protocol.
DJI RC Pro supports QC protocol.
How can I improve the signal receiving quality of the DJI Mavic 3 series remote controller?
a. It is recommended to fly in an open environment with less wireless interference.
b. Close other running programs in the background of the mobile device.
c. Pay attention to the direction of the antenna. Please adjust the plane of the antenna facing the position of the aircraft.

What should I do if the battery does not respond when I use DJI Mavic 3 for the first time?
New batteries are in hibernation mode and need to be charged to wake up hibernating batteries.
Perform the following to wake up hibernating batteries.
Method 1: Connect the charging cable of the charger to the Type-C port at the rear of the aircraft, and charge the battery until the battery level LEDs light up.
Method 2: Insert the batteries to the Battery Charging Hub, and charge the batteries until the battery level LEDs light up. Please note that the battery charging hub charges batteries in sequence. After a battery is fully charged, the battery charging hub will start charging the second battery to bring it out of hibernation.
What are the functions of DJI Mavic 3 Battery Charging Hub?
DJI Mavic 3 Battery Charging Hub can be used to charge up to three batteries and supports USB PD fast charging protocol. But the Battery Charging Hub cannot be used for battery discharging.
Do I need to power off the DJI Mavic 3 battery before charging it?
Yes, make sure that the battery is turned off before charging. Please note that the battery cannot be charged when it is turned on.
Do you have any suggestions for the maintenance of the DJI Mavic 3 battery?
Before storage, please make sure that the remaining battery level is at least 60%. It is recommended to charge and discharge the battery once every three months to improve battery performance.
If the battery level is below 60%, it is recommended to charge it until it is 60% before storage.
If the battery level is above 70%, the battery will discharge automatically on the 9th day to about 60%.
What is the charging logic of the Mavic 3 Battery Charging Hub ?
The Battery Charging Hub can charge up to three batteries in sequence according to their remaining power level, from high to low.
Does DJI Mavic 3 support battery in-place detection function?
Yes.
How long does it take to fully charge a DJI Mavic 3 battery when using the charger with a normal Type-C cable?
It takes more than 10 hours to fully charge the battery when using a normal Type-C cable to connect the DJI Mavic 3 charger as fast charging is not available. It is recommended to use the fast charging cable to charge the battery first.
How do I update the firmware of the DJI Mavic 3 battery?
The battery's firmware is updated when the aircraft's firmware is updated via the app.
If the battery needs to be updated separately, a warning stating that the battery's firmware needs to be updated will be shown in the app. Tap to update the battery. Or when DJI Assistant 2 is connected, an "Inconsistent Firmware Found" warning will be shown, then tap it to update the battery.

Press once: Check the current battery level.

Approximately 96 minutes when using the DJI 65W Portable Charger.
Can I use other chargers with USB-C ports to charge the Mavic 3 battery?

How do I mount propellers to DJI Mavic 3?
There are A/B motors and A/B propellers:
"A" propellers with gray circle marks should be mounted onto "A" motor propeller mounts, which have a gray arc on the outer ring.
"B" propellers without gray circle marks should be mounted onto the "B" motor propeller mounts that don't have gray arcs.
Insert the propeller into the propeller mount and press it down to the end, and rotate it in the locking direction until it bounces back and locks.
How often should I replace Mavic 3's propellers?
Please check whether propellers are broken, worn, misshapen, or corroded before each flight. If yes, replace them immediately.
