Anmerkungen

Camera

Does Osmo Action 3 support vertical shooting?
Slide down the screen to enter the Settings page, turn off "Orientation Lock", then rotate the camera clockwise or counterclockwise by 90°, and the camera can be used for vertical shooting.
It is recommended to use it with the Horizontal-Vertical Protective Frame.
About the Osmo Action 3 Color Temperature Sensor
The color temperature sensor is located at the letter “O” on the Action 3 nameplate. Do not cover the letter “O” when holding the camera. With the help of the color temperature sensor, Action 3 can obtain better color temperature performance in complex lighting scenarios. For example, when diving, it can correct the color temperature underwater, so the color temperature will not change when the camera angle changes. In addition, the sensor allows the camera to more accurately detect and reduce the stroboscopic effect in the shooting environment.
How many microphones does Osmo Action 3 have, and where are they located?
There are altogether 3 microphones on Action 3, with 2 at the nameplate and 1 on the right side of the camera bottom panel (with the front touchscreen facing toward the operator).
How do I charge Osmo Action 3? What are the requirements for the charger? Can I use a mobile phone charger to charge the camera?

How long does it take to fully charge Osmo Action 3?
When using DJI 30W USB-C Charger, it takes 20 minutes to charge the camera from 0% to 80%, and 49 minutes to fully charge it.
When using DJI 30W USB-C Charger and the Multifunctional Battery Case to charge the three batteries, it takes 56 minutes to charge them all to 80%, and 120 minutes to fully charge them.

Note: Trickle charging means charging a device using a tiny current, thus ensuring that the battery is truly saturated and thereby extend the battery life.
Does Osmo Action 3 support using while charging?
Action 3 supports recording in the charging state. However, it may heat up during charging, and thus stop filming when shooting videos with a high frame rate. The charging process may also stop if the camera is noticeably overheating. It is recommended to charge the camera in a 5 to 40℃ environment. In addition, using the camera during charging will affect the battery life. It is recommended to power off the camera for charging, and to use it after it is fully charged.
