Currently, Guidance cannot avoid obstacles in two or more directions at the same time. For instance, the aircraft cannot hover between two walls that are 3m or higher. The aircraft will vibrate in this situation, which may be dangerous.

0.5m-2m.

Obstacle avoidance distance includes obstacle sensing distance and braking distance.
Obstacle sensing distance: Guidance has its own calculation formulation. It is calculated on the basis of the current flight speed.
The max braking distance is 2m. It can be reset in the software.

Without the obstacle avoidance function, flight performance is the same as Inspire 1. When obstacle avoidance is ON, max flight velocity is 7m/s and can be adjusted.

1. LED light of Guidance is green.
2. LED light of the sensor is green.
3. In vision positioning mode, the downward Guidance sensor range is ≥0.5m. The LED lights of M100 flash green-green-blue alternatively. In GPS mode, the LED lights flash green and blue alternatively. If it does not flash blue, the obstacle avoidance is not normal.

Not necessarily. But you will need to choose “Customized” as the operating mode and set the position parameters of the sensors.

Velocity level: the higher the level, the faster the max flight speed;
Braking sensitivity: the higher the sensitivity, the more effective the braking, the farther the aircraft braked is from the obstacle.
Velocity level and braking sensitivity work together to affect braking.
